Therapeutic Modalities I Frequently Use

Along with more traditional massage techniques, such as Swedish massage, my particular style often combines intuitive touch, traditional massage techniques, myofascial release and trigger point therapy. Trigger Point is probably less familiar of these yet offers a lot of benefit to clients with deeper held tension in certain muscle groups. Depending on the individual, triggers may be found in hips, glutes, lumbar, or even in arm, leg or neck muscles. This healing technique applies brief but sustained deep pressure in one area of the body to generate release in that area of the body or another. It is based on the principle that free and uninterrupted energy flow helps activate the natural healing processes in each client's body, as well as restores physical and emotional well-being through release.

As a Licensed Massage Therapist, I may select from a variety of modalities to help you reduce tension, stress, anxiety, as well as chronic and/or acute pain concerns. Later in June, I will be adding a special service of Himalayan Salt Stone Massage, so check back then if you wish to try this new service!
